Today’s Reflections and Celebrations
This week has offered so many moments of pride, joy, and community spirit, and I would like to take a moment to celebrate the wonderful achievements and experiences shared across our school.
🌟 Year 6 Autumn Tea Party – A Heart-warming Community Event
Our Year 6 pupils truly embodied compassion and leadership at their Autumn Tea Party, where they warmly welcomed local senior citizens for an morning of refreshments, cake, conversation, music, and song. The maturity, kindness, and confidence shown by our students were inspiring to witness. Their performances brought smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears from our guests. Well done, Year 6—you made our school incredibly proud.

Year 1 Local Visit - Remembering Sacrifices made in Times of War
Year 1 deserve special praise for their exemplary behaviour and excellent learning during their recent visit to the local war memorial. The children were a credit to the school, showing great respect, thoughtfulness and curiosity throughout the visit. They listened carefully, asked insightful questions and demonstrated a mature understanding of why the memorial is important, drawing confidently on their history learning from this term. This meaningful visit provided a fitting and memorable culmination to their work in history, bringing their classroom learning to life in a powerful way.

🎄 A Fabulous Christmas Fayre
A huge thank you to everyone who supported, attended, or helped bring to life our festive and fabulous Christmas Fayre. The atmosphere was magical, filled with creativity, community spirit, and plenty of Christmas cheer. Events like this highlight the strength of our school family, and we could not do it without your continued involvement.
An especially big thank you goes to our PTA, whose tireless energy and ongoing support enrich so many aspects of school life. We are deeply grateful.
🎭 PTA-Funded Pantomimes – Pure Joy!
This week, our students were treated to two wonderful pantomime performances—all thanks to the generosity of the PTA.
-
Little Red Riding Hood had our lower school completely captivated. The giggles, gasps, and wide eyes spoke volumes about how much they enjoyed the show.
-
Dick Whittington proved to be a hit with the upper school, with waves of resounding laughter filling the hall.
These shared experiences create lifelong memories, and it was a delight to see the joy on every child’s face.
