Weekly Bulletin: Friday 19th December 2025

Dear Parents, Carers & Families,

Surprise Christmas Visitors to The School

As we draw to the end of term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly joyful and memorable time for our school community.

We have been incredibly impressed by the very youngest of our children, who performed their first ever Christmas nativity with such enthusiasm, confidence and pride. Seeing them take to the stage so bravely, many for the very first time, was a special reminder of just how much they have grown already. They were simply wonderful ⭐

Early Years Nativity

Our older year groups then went on to blow everyone away with their festive singing, dancing and confident performances. The energy, commitment and sheer joy they brought to their shows filled the hall (and the church) with Christmas spirit, and they should be immensely proud of themselves.

It was particularly heart-warming to see so many smiling faces at our various Christmas performances. The atmosphere across all events was one of warmth, celebration and community. It was also brilliant to welcome so many parents, carers and family members into school and over to the church to support our children. Your presence and encouragement mean so much to them and truly bring these occasions to life.

Year 3 and 4 Performance

The children have also thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas parties, which were full of laughter, games and festive fun. Alongside this, our Christmas dinner day was a real highlight of the week and felt incredibly special for everyone involved. I would like to say a huge thank you to our fantastic Kitchen Team for organising and delivering such a fabulous Christmas spread — it was thoroughly enjoyed by children and staff alike 🎄🍽️

Christmas Dinner

I am delighted to share that our Christmas Fayre raised an incredible £2,129.00 — a truly fantastic achievement that will make a meaningful difference to our pupils’ experiences. This success is a testament to the dedication and determination of a small but mighty group of PTA volunteers, whose commitment and hard work ensured the event was such a triumph. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our teachers and staff, whose enthusiasm, time, and support were greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed. Looking ahead, we are excited to build on this success by placing a strong focus next year on welcoming more parents and carers to join the PTA, helping us grow an even stronger community and create even more memorable opportunities for our children.

Finally, I am delighted to announce that the school has been successful in its application for charitable support from Tesco. This is wonderful news and will help us continue to enhance opportunities and experiences for our children. You can support this fundraising endeavour by voting with one blue token (issued on transactions) for our school project. You can do this in all local Tesco stores - every single vote helps!

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Weeks like this truly highlight the strength of our school community and the joy of working together for our children.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas Break, we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 5th January 2026!

Best wishes,
