Weekly Bulletin: Friday 6th February 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been a real pleasure this week to see so many examples of our strong community spirit in action.
I was incredibly proud of our Student Council, who represented the school in a trust-wide online discussion about charity fundraising. They spoke confidently, listened thoughtfully to others, and shared their ideas with maturity and enthusiasm. This is an exciting opportunity for them, and I will share more details with you as plans begin to take shape.
Thank you to our Year 1 and Year 5 pupils for the wonderful assemblies they presented to parents this week. It was clear how much work and effort had gone into their presentations. I know many parents appreciated the chance to see their children shine and to share in their learning.
We have also already received some impressive entries for our STEAM Competition. The ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness has been fantastic to see. There is one more week to enter before judging, so there is still time for pupils to get involved. I will keep everyone updated on further entries and, of course, on the winners once judging has taken place.

Looking ahead, next week is Mental Health Week. Throughout the week, pupils will explore different aspects of mental health through assemblies and class activities, helping them to better understand emotions, resilience and the importance of looking after their wellbeing and that of others.
In addition, Safer Internet Day takes place on Tuesday 10th February. Pupils will take part in a range of activities focused on understanding the potential dangers of being online and, importantly, how to stay safe. This is an increasingly important area of learning, and we are committed to supporting children to become confident, informed and safe digital citizens.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It is a privilege to work alongside such a supportive and engaged school community.
Warm regards,
Angela Carpenter
