Whitehill End of Term Bulletin: March 28th 2024
Wow, this term has just flown by with each day packed with wonderful learning opportunities.
As part of Enrichment Week, year 6 have completed some incredible research work looking at how much food waste the school has. The research culminated in a number of our year 6 students presenting their findings in assembly to the school. They have created a rap about food waste for everyone to enjoy.

Inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, year 4 use their creative skills to embroider. They used a combination of fabrics and stitches to create some stunning 2D images.
Year 4 Sewing
For enrichment week year 1 have been learning about what is good for the environment and as part of this have been making compostable plant pots.
Reception has been lucky enough to receive professional cricket coaching this term. They have had lots of fun refining their batting skills.
Nursery have been having a super time learning about Easter.
Nursery Easter
We had an eggs-traordinary visitor come to visit the children of Whitehill today. The Easter Bunny was egg-stremely egg-cited to see all of the fabulous Easter Bonnets that the children had made and were wearing. The Chair of Governors, Mr Outred joined us and helped the Easter Bunny judge the entries. Thank you to the Easter Bunny, Mr Outred and the PTA for making this happen! Well done children for your amazing creations! You look smashing!
